Soccer Time!

Joshua is tearing it up on the soccer field again. His team (the Hawks or the Eagles ... he can't remember) tells him he is the fastest runner, and he takes this reputation very seriously. He also loves to play goalie. We have a blast watching him, and cheering him on. Before each game he tells Livi, "Make sure you cheer super loud so I can hear you." She is happy to oblige. Go Joshua!

Fun Day!

Yesterday, we had a "fun day" planned for the kids. We took them to see Toy Story 3 (oh my gosh, so funny!), then went to lunch. We also went swimming, ate lots of ice cream, and played games together. It was great not to worry about schedules and chores. We just enjoyed being together and laughing at the funny things our kids do and say. I think we need more "fun days" in life ...

3 Months

Our little Ethan is three months old today... I can hardly believe it. He is the absolute light of my life. He has such a sweet and calm temperament (which balances out his crazy brother and sister perfectly). His smile has gotten me through some rough days, and I thank my Heavenly Father for such an amazing little boy. I love you Baby Ethan!

Goodbye Preschool!

Joshua had his farewell picnic at preschool. He and Livi had fun running in the grass, eating lunch with Joshua's friends and getting their faces painted. Joshua will miss his teachers, Mrs. Gresham and Mrs. Terry, and all the friends he has made. I see lots of play dates coming this summer ... He's excited for Kindergarten in the fall, and I'm already getting teary-eyed just thinking about it!

3 Kids

OK ... I'm still getting used to the whole "3 kids" thing. Over the last two months, I've learned a few things about motherhod with 3 under 6 ... For example:

1. I will never have a room clean for longer than 10 minutes at a time.
2. Grocery shopping is best done at midnight when kids are asleep.
3. Dry-clean only clothing is NOT a good idea.
4. The mother's lounge at church is the most peaceful place on earth.
5. The portrait studio is the most stressful place on earth.
6. I don't need to be up to date on current events, as long as I know the "Wonder Pets" theme song.
7. When all else fails ... go to Chick fil-A.
8. The world revolves around nap time and bed time.
9. I will never again take my children bra shopping ...seriously, what was I thinking?
10. There is nothing I would rather be doing.

To Joshua, Olivia and Ethan: I love you!!
