In July, we went to Bear Lake for a Hague Family Reunion (my Mom's side of the family). We stayed in the Papa Bear Lodge again . . . it was so much fun! This was our last reunion at Bear Lake, and I was feeling pretty nostalgic about it. We've had so many good memories there, and we are going to miss it. It was so much fun to see everyone! The Hague's are spread out all over the country, and it is rare that we get together. We appreciated every moment we had with them. We love Bear Lake!
One Sunday morning, Jason was trying to get the kids to put their church clothes on. He said something to the effect of, "The last person to get dressed is a rotten egg!" Since that moment, Ethan has been convinced that being a rotten egg is a great privilege. It doesn't matter how many times we've tried to explain the whole "rotten egg" concept, his mind is made up. So now you can hear us say things like, "Ethan, if you clean up your room you get to be the rotten egg!" or "Ethan, if you finish your breakfast we'll let you be the rotten egg!" It works like a charm every time. Funny kid!
