The Boys ...

Jason and Joshua have always been close buddies. Every day, Joshua waits for his Pa to come home and play "guys" with him. Anytime he gets hurt, Joshua wants to call Jason at work to tell him about it. They both love to tell elaborate stories, play transformers, look at pictures of bugs, and eat huge snacks right before bed. I have decided Joshua is a little J.I.T. (Jason in Training).

Memorial Day Fun

On Memorial Day, the kids and I went to dinner with some of our Dalby family (Jason had to work-sad). The food was great, and the company was even better. I realized how blessed we are to live by family.

A Trip to the Emergency Room

Joshua and Livi had a rough week.  They both caught a stomach virus, and after 6 days of constant throwing up (and about 42 loads of laundry), we took Joshua in to see his doctor.  She immediately sent him to the emergency room to be treated for dehydration.  Fortunately, he responded well to the medications and after watching the same "Baby Einstein" Movie for 5 hours straight, we were able to go home.  He and Livi are doing much better now, and we are happy to report the washing machine is getting a well-deserved break. :-)

Pampered for Mother's Day

To celebrate Mother's Day, my Mom and I went and got pedicures together.  It was nice to be pampered for a bit, and we always have fun together.  I feel blessed to have a Mom who is also my friend.

Our Princess is 1!

On Sunday, we celebrated Olivia's 1st Birthday.  We had a big dinner with family, ate lots of chocolate cake, and watched Livi open her gifts.  (Actually, Joshua opened the gifts for her.  He was more than happy to help!)  She got her first baby doll with a little stroller, her very own cell phone, and some cute dresses to add to her closet.  After the party, she spent the night chasing balloons and pushing her new stroller around the house.  We can hardly believe how quickly our little girl is growing up.  Happy Birthday Princess!!
