We Made It!

It's official... we are Utahns. And despite the RIDICULOUSLY cold weather, we couldn't be happier. We are in love with our new condo, and the neighborhood it's in. Joshua has made lots of friends at his new school, and Jason's new job is a huge blessing for our family. 2011 is looking good! Anyone want to come for a visit? =)

Merry Christmas!!!

We had a busy, but wonderful Christmas this year. My family helped me load up our truck on the 23rd and the kids and I said goodbye to our place. We were excited to stay at my parent's house for Christmas... Thanks Mom and Dad! On Christmas Eve night we picked Jason up at the airport. It was a happy reunion in the airport's waiting area. Jason thought the kids would forget him, but NO worries about that. =) Then we headed to Grandpa and Grandma Dalby's house for a turkey dinner and our Christmas Eve program... This year we started a new tradition. On Christmas Eve, the kids open a present- a game that we play together before they go to bed... Joshua took great pride in the cookies he decorated for Santa... Ethan's first Christmas (he had no idea what was going on, but I think he had fun)... Christmas day was a blast. Seriously, nothing beats having little kids on Christmas. Coming up the stairs on Christmas morning (Always my favorite part)... Checking out the loot from Santa... More fun on Christmas Day... Merry Christmas everyone!!

Christmas Sunday

I LOVE Christmas Sunday. Especially this year... it's been hard to feel the Christmas spirit with packing and getting ready for our move this weekend. Now I have Christmas carols running through my head, and I can't wait for Christmas Eve! Here are a few pictures of the kids all dressed up for church:

Breakfast With Santa

This morning, we went to "Breakfast With Santa" in my parent's ward. The kids waited in line for 45 minutes to sit on Santa's lap. It was a miracle... not one of them cried (Though Ethan looked a bit worried by Santa's oh-so-realistic beard). Joshua asked for Star Wars legos (for the third year in a row), and Olivia asked for a puppy (yah right). Then they informed Santa that Ethan would like some baby toys. They are counting down the days 'til Santa comes for real!

Moving On...

We're moving... to Utah...in 2 weeks! Jason accepted a position with a company called Blue Lemon, and we are moving Christmas week (because I seriously DO NOT have enough to do during the holidays!) Despite the stress, we really are excited for this new adventure. It will be a new experience living in Utah and not being students, but we know this is where the Lord wants us to be. Jason has already started his new position, and he is loving it! I am just trying to keep my sanity while taking care of the kids, getting ready for Christmas, packing boxes, and making moving arrangements without him. We will be in the Lehi area, and the kids are excited to be by their Grandpa and Grandma Davis, and some of their cousins. At the same time, it is hard to say goodbye to Grandpa and Grandma Dalby and the cousins they have here in Colorado. It's going to be a big month for our family!

Thanksgiving in Arizona

We celebrated Thanksgiving in Arizona this year, with Jason's family... All 48 of us! It is the first time we have all been together in years, and it was such a blast. Jason's sister has a beautiful home that accommodated all of us, so we spent the week chatting, playing games, and eating all kinds of yummy food. Jason played in the Turkey Bowl, and we cheered him on. The weather was gorgeous so we played, and even had our Thanksgiving feast, outside. There were 28 kids running around, so I basically didn't see my three all week. It was great. =)

A few pictures from our week... It was seriously such a fun Thanksgiving. We can't wait for next year!

More Wedding Fun!

My youngest sister, Tara, was married on November 20 in the Salt Lake Temple. The wedding was beautiful, and it was so good to see family again. Here are some pictures from the big event...

The kids at the airport. I once stated on this blog that the portrait studio is the most stressful place on earth. I changed my mind...the airport with three kids takes the number one spot for sure:
All the siblings at a family dinner the night before Tara's wedding:
The happy couple, Peter and Tara:
Sistas... waiting for the reception to begin:
The entire Dalby family all dressed up for the reception:

Ready to Go!

Tomorrow, we fly to Utah for my sister's wedding. We'll be in Utah for a week, and then we are driving to Arizona for a Davis Family Reunion. We'll be there for another week. Jason is excited, the kids are excited, and I'm... totally stressed out. I seriously have like 12 lists going. Lists are the only thing that keep me sane. Joshua decided to make a packing list of his own. It includes all the most important things he'll need... translation: legos, games, toothbrush, clothes, shoes, fruit snacks, Olivia, and toys.

I'm so glad he has agreed to take his little partner-in-crime with him. =)

He's a Crawler!

Our little Ethan is a crawler now. This means he is into EVERYTHING! Nothing is safe. All day long I hear the words, "Mom, Ethan has something in his mouth!" Just yesterday, I found him chewing on the following: legos, wrappers, the remote, a cracker he found under Joshua's bed (gross!), and a page he ripped from the kid's Book of Mormon... Fortunately for him, Ethan is so cute that we can't be mad at him for even a second. Love that boy!

Three and a Half!

We celebrated Olivia's half-birthday this week. She chose pineapple pizza for dinner, and she was so excited to help make her special half-cake. We love our little princess. Happy half-birthday Livi!!
