The Davis Family Loves to Eat!

The foods we can't live without ... Olivia: ICE CREAM! When she wakes up in the morning, she asks for 2 things ... ice cream, and Dora. Joshua: WAFFLES! Actually, he calls them "Faffles," and we make them together almost every morning. Shanna: RAISIN BRAN! I eat it for breakfast, lunch, and a before-bed snack. In fact ... I think I'll have some right now. Yum! Jason: ASIAN FOOD! If there is ever a reason to celebrate, Jason wants to go to PF Changs. The spicier the better!

Girl Fun!

This weekend my Mom, Tara and I flew to Utah to surprise Jesica at her baby shower. She had no clue we were coming, and we couldn't have hoped for a better reaction (think lots of screaming and tears). The weekend was a blast. We went shopping, helped her set up the nursery, and went out to breakfast. Though I missed Jason and the kids like crazy, it was great to have some girl fun!

Snow Adventure

Today, the kids and I went on an adventure in the snow. Joshua was our trusted leader (He told us to call him "Anakin"), and we had fun hiding in make-believe caves, avoiding snow bears and surviving a tornado. I'd forgotten how much fun snow can be!

Our Little Sunbeam

Joshua had his first week in primary as a Sunbeam. He was a little hesitant to leave behind the toys in nursery, but when his teacher let him make a crown and wear the Superstar Sunglasses for the day, he decided Sunbeam class is the way to go! Now he can't wait to go back next week. :-)

Happy New Year!

We spent New Year's Eve with Jason's family. After eating every snack in the house, we played a game called "Curses". As part of the game, I had to sneeze every time I said something, and Jason had to copy whatever the person to his right did. Lucky me! (I made him do a few cheerleading kicks just for fun). Joshua was excited to stay up late with his cousins, and when midnight hit, we welcomed the new year with whistles and balloons. Happy 2009!!
