It's Rodeo Time!!

Every year, on my birthday, my parents take us to the Spanish Fork rodeo.  I mean . . . Bull riders, rodeo clowns, fireworks, and a one-armed bandit at half-time . . . what more could a girl want for her 33rd birthday? Haha!

Seriously though, we're so glad Grandpa and Grandma Dalby take us to the rodeo every year.  We love having that tradition with them and we had a blast together!  Giddy-up!!

All Dressed in White

I took my girls to the Timpanogos temple to have their pictures taken together, in preparation for their joint blessing/baptism day.  My Dad was kind enough to take the photos for me and they turned out amazing!  I told Jason I'm going to cherish these photos forever . . . my two girls all dressed in white . . . LOVE!

Another thing I will cherish forever is the statement Livi made as we were driving home from the temple.  She said, "Mom, when I was getting my pictures taken at the temple, I had this really special feeling inside of me,"  I told her she was feeling the spirit . . . that Heavenly Father was telling her how happy He is that she is choosing to be baptized.  She thought about that for a minute, then said, "I think you're right mom."

Happy 4th!

We had an awesome Independence Day this year!  Lots of fun with our Davis Family!!  We started the day with the Freedom Festival Parade in Provo.  This parade seriously makes the holiday for me.  One year, we decided not to go through the stress of getting to the parade . . . and the fourth just wasn't the same without it!

Joshua's favorite entry:

Olivia's Favorite:

Ethan's Favorite:

The Crowd Favorite (Can I just say how much I love living in Utah?)

After the parade, we went to Steve and Alyse's house for a BBQ and some trampoline fun . . .

We ended the night with s'mores (yum!) and, of course, some fireworks!

We're so grateful to live in this great country!  Happy Fourth everyone!!

Go Westlake!!

Olivia is in her second year of Westlake Little League Cheer.  I volunteered to be Team Mom this year.  It has been super stressful fun!  Livi has grown so much this year, and she loves being the team flier.  Her tumbling has come a long way, and it is her favorite part of cheer!

She cheered in two parades at the beginning of summer . . .

She also participated in a week-long summer camp at Westlake High School . . .

And lots of showcases . . .

She's a cheer superstar, and we couldn't be more proud!  Let's go Thunder!!
