Guy's Night Out

As part of his basketball season, Joshua was given two tickets to a UVU basketball game.  He was so excited when Jason took the night off to go to the game with him.  They had fun cheering for the team, eating ice-cream, and catching a frisbee that was thrown into the crowd.   Joshua also picked up some cool basketball moves from the UVU players.  It's been hilarious to watch him put those moves to use in his games.  Go Wolverines!

Blue Lemon 3.0

Jason recently opened a new location for Blue Lemon in Cottonwood Heights.  They call this third location "Blue Lemon 3.0", and it is seriously beautiful.  Everything is high-tech and streamlined . . .We love it!  Jason has worked so hard the last three months to prepare for the grand opening: hiring and training a new staff, perfecting the menu, working with construction crews, ordering every little kitchen gadget you can imagine, marketing for a new location . . . the list goes on and on.  We've hardly seen him.  They had two VIP nights to celebrate the grand opening, and it was fun to see all his hard work finally come together.  A few pictures of the restaurant . . .

Real lemon trees growing in the front lobby . . .

I don't even know how many flat-screens are in the place . . . I stopped counting.

The drink machines that were made by Ferrari . . . it only took me forever to figure out how to use them!

The food (enough said) . . .

We are so excited Jason was given this opportunity.  It has been a great learning experience for both of us.  If you're in the area, be sure to stop by and check it out . . . and don't you dare leave without a sugar cookie.  Oh my gosh, my mouth waters just thinking of them!

M.I.A.

Life . . . has been SO busy the last couple months.  We have a lot of exciting changes coming to our family, and I have honestly been in survival mode trying to keep up with all those changes.  Blogging had to be put on hold for a bit.  But now I'm back!  My goal is to get caught up in the next few days, so stay tuned . . . I'm certain you're on the edge of your seat with excitement. =)

Our B-Ball Star!

Joshua started Jr. Jazz basketball a couple weeks ago.  He is LOVING it!  We bought him some new basketball shoes for his first practice and he told me, "Mom, I really think I can jump higher in these shoes!"  He's been working on his dribbling, passing and shooting.  The games are . . . hilarious.  We're lucky if they shoot at the right basket.  That's what makes it fun though.  With three boys, I'm guessing I'll spend a lot of time in the bleachers.  I'm putting the old cheer skills to good use now.  GO JOSHUA!

It's a Boy!

Just after Christmas I had my 20-week ultrasound and we learned our little one is a boy!  Joshua is VERY excited to have another brother, and he is certain the baby waved at him during the ultrasound.  Joshua also has a name picked out . . . Luke Skywalker Davis . . . There's about a 0% chance of that happening.  Olivia was disappointed for about 5 seconds, then happy to realize she doesn't have to share her princess crown with anyone.  Jason said it's probably for the best . . . Livi is a lot of girl for a little sister to live up to.  Ethan pretty much has no idea what's going on, but we're certain he and the baby will be good buddies.  As for me . . . It just feels right, like our family is complete.  I'm so grateful to know he's healthy and growing.  I'm also excited to shop for more of these in the future . . .
I mean, COME ON!  How can I resist?

Dalby Family Pictures

We had Dalby family photos taken while we were in Colorado for Christmas.  And of course I'm pregnant . . . it's a family joke that we only do pictures when I'm big and pregnant.  I'm happy to pass that torch to someone else in the future. =)

All 16 of us:

Our attempt at a grandkids picture.  It was seriously laughable:

A Colorado Christmas

We spent Christmas in Colorado with my entire family- all 17 of us.  We had such a wonderful time.  There really is nothing better than a cozy, white Christmas in Colorado . . . it is so beautiful there.  About a million pictures of our fun . . .

Cheering for Uncle Brad at his basketball tournament.  Go Titans!

Decorating sugar cookies with our well-loved sugar cookie recipe (We had to take a picture of it this year before it disintegrates into thin air):

Fun hanging out at home:

Joshua with his purchase from Lego Land.  He was more excited about Lego Land than Santa Claus- the highlight of his trip:

Matching jammies from Grandma Dalby:

Decorating gingerbread houses:

A visit to the North Pole on Christmas Eve.  It's a Christmas-themed amusement park in Colorado Springs.  We had so much fun!
